F.58 J-4021 was formerly operated by the Swiss, and was even the aircraft to lead the Patrouille de Suisse display team!
After its service days with the Swiss Air Force, it was acquired by Historic Flying Ltd in the 1990s, being put on the civil register as G-BWIU where it was restored to flight, later moving to The Old Flying Machine Company in the late 1990s.
In the early 2000s, the aircraft was acquired by Hawker Hunter Aviation - a company that provides a defence simulation, using Hunters as the chase aircraft. G-BWIU was one of several Hunters the company got its hands on, and still remained in its unique Swiss colours! In 2002, HHA changed its registration to G-HHAC and could be seen flying in the skies over RAF Scampton, where HHA was based at the time.
G-HHAC has gone into hiding for some years now at HHA, but has since lost its Swiss colours, gaining standard RAF camouflage colours and gaining the serial ZZ194 in 2012, but remains undercover. In 2023, HHA moved its operation to RAF Leeming due to the closure of RAF Scampton, which saw ZZ194 relocate to Leeming alongside ZZ190, ZZ191, and XE688.
