Sea Hawk FB.5 WM994 at Hurn, August 1989; Alan Allen
After retirement, WM994 was bought by Jet Heritage at Bournemouth and began a restoration to airworthy condition - this got as far as registering her as G-SEAH, stripping her paint, and applying primer before she was sold to Amjet in the USA in the 1990s. Imported into the USA, she was then seen in 2004 up for sale along with a large amount of Sea Hawk spares. In October 2012, the FAA canceled the registration for this aircraft. Not too long after that it was supposedly sold on again to a private owner who moved it to Butler, Pennsylvania, and was placed in storage. In June/July 2025 she has broken cover once more and was seen being transported by road, last reported position being in Texas.
Any updates on her location and condition would be appreciated!
