Jaguar GR.1A XX955 at Hermeskeil, 8th August 2025; Jake Wallace

XX955 was delivered to the RAF in October 1975 before being retired to Shawbury in 1990 for storage and parts recovery. By 2005, it was disposed of and sold to Everett Aero, who moved it to their Sproughton site.

The aircraft didn't stay with Everett Aero long, as it was soon sold on to the large collection at Hermeskeil in Germany, arriving at their site in the latter part of 2005, where it remains on display today. XX955 has recently received a repaint, although the markings have remained in their original and faded state with the new green appearing to be a very dark shade. The aircraft looks to be in very good condition, nonetheless!
