Formerly XF432 and 526 of the Singapore Air Force, the airframe is currently back flying in Australia under the guise of VH-XVF, and has been doing so since 2022.

This aircraft did not "serve" at Tangmere. It was part of the F6-equipped 208 Squadron which was assembled at Tangmere prior to departure to RAF Nicosia in Cyprus. 34 Squadron was re-numbered 208 and its F5s replaced with F6s prior to departure for Cyprus. XF432 and Don Brims also detached to Amman in Jordan in 1958. It is featured in a painting commissioned by me entitled "Hunters Over Amman". re XF432 Dear Sirs, Donald Brims was my elder brother. I am delighted to see that you now have him on record as part of the aircraft's history via my sister-in-law's e-mail. (Sue Brims) Please could you add prefix Flt.Lt. and suffix RAF. to his name ie Flt.Lt.Donald william Brims RAF. He would be delighted if alive today and also means so much to us. David Brims
